ALF Patient/Family Support Group Meetings

The American Liver Foundation, Mid-South chapter (ALF) offers free support group meetings for patients with hepatitis and other liver diseases.
Support groups play an important role in the American Liver Foundation's efforts to empower patients and their families. Participants gain increased knowledge from speakers, facilitators and other patients. They develop and improve coping skills. They gain increased confidence and acceptance of their liver disease through the knowledge that they share a common struggle. Our support groups provide a "safe" and supportive environment for patients and families to deal with the impact of their liver disease.
