Community
Councils exist to advance the Foundation’s mission at the
community level.
To fulfill their role, Community Councils must have a three-fold
purpose:

To recruit and develop volunteers
-
To reach people affected or at risk of liver disease and provide
needed educational programs
- To
raise funds to accomplish the mission

of the foundation in an assigned geographic area) and operate
in a manner to maximize the chapter’s overall effectiveness.
Chartered through a jointly signed agreement process, chapters
operate under Nationally-approved bylaws and conducts priority
